Scott Godley currently serves as the Director of College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Unit Support with Houston Independent School District (HISD). This role entails supervision of a 60-person team that operates as the front-line support for Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Postsecondary programming across the district. This unit team also oversees the coordination of CCMR exploration activities for all K-12 campuses.

He previously served as Director of Postsecondary Programming at HISD, a leadership role involves oversight of all dual credit and dual enrollment (i.e., UT OnRamps) offerings across HISD. Dr. Godley has worked in various roles within HISD over the past six years, which includes extensive involvement with Career & Technology Education (CTE) programming. Prior to joining HISD, Dr. Godley spent more than seven years at Houston Community College (HCC). As the Director of P-16, he provided leadership to a team that managed dual credit programming for more than eight school districts and/or charter schools across the Greater Houston area. Dr. Godley obtained his doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University in 2017. He also has four years of high school journalism teaching experience prior to transitioning to higher education in 2008.
